FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)
FIRST is the higher level organization that encompasses FIRST LEGO® League Jr., FIRST LEGO® League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition
FIRST LEGO® League (FLL)
FIRST LEGO® League is an alliance between FIRST & the LEGO® Group. FLL teams research a real-world problem related to the theme, and are challenged to develop a solution. For the Challenge level, they also must design, build, program a robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology, then compete on a table-top playing field.
